Registered Kinesiologist

“Hands down the best clinic! Wonderful staff, beautiful clinic space, and an exceptional experience. Thank you to the entire FusionPhysio team.”
Matt R.

As a former athlete who experienced previous injuries, Klaus understands the importance of physical rehabilitation. His interest in physical rehabilitation and pre-habilitation stems from his own experiences and he now sets out to help others as he was helped.

Klaus completed his Kinesiology degree at University of the Fraser Valley, where he was also a varsity men’s basketball team athlete. Klaus started his Kinesiology career working in the community in the Fraser Valley Region then moved into the clinic setting. He also gained experience working in the Pain and Medication Management Program. He learned a lot of applicable concepts that may also be implemented outside of the program. Furthermore, Klaus learned the importance of a team based approached as he worked alongside other professions including: physicians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and clinical counsellors. This is a part of the reason Klaus is excited to be a part of the team at FusionPhysio as there is a very family oriented atmosphere where clinicians may rely on each other in the best interest of the patient.

Klaus also enjoys giving back to the community by providing services via volunteering. He has been involved in many volunteer opportunities in the community over the years. After having so much fun and having learned a lot from volunteering with the Stroke Group while completing his degree, he continues to jump at volunteering opportunities as they arise. As community is one of our core values, Klaus is excited to be a part of our team as he gravitates towards people that hold the same values! Outside of work, being a former athlete, Klaus enjoys participating in sports. Although basketball is his passion, he also enjoys activities such like golf and hiking. He also enjoys participating in winter activities such as snowboarding. To unwind you may find Klaus drawing or painting and teaching himself new activities such like playing the guitar.

Klaus’ goal is to continue his studies and complete a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. That being said, Klaus is always seeking learning opportunities and strives to continually learn from his colleagues as well as his patients. He believes in working together with his patients and colleagues in order to create an individualized active rehabilitation program. He looks forward to working with every patient that is in need of his kinesiology services.
