Keeping You Active with Custom Knee Bracing

Movement is medicine. Whether you have knee osteoarthritis, ACL injury, or other structural knee problem, a custom knee brace can be an ideal solution and can play a critical role in your ability to stay active and healthy.

We have partnerships with the major knee bracing manufacturers and our experience can help identify the critical decision factors when choosing the right brace for your condition and lifestyle.

Osteoarthritis Unloader Bracing

The Osteoarthritis Research Society International , the American Rheumatological Association, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons all recommend osteoarthritis braces for conservative management of osteoarthritis of the knee. Used correctly, OA knee braces can make a substantial difference to your symptoms, activity, and quality of life.

Our lead physiotherapist has over 27 years of experience of assessing and providing the right OA knee brace for you. We even have trial programs for some brace brands. Contact us at orthotics@fusionphysiochiliwack.com for further information.

ACL and Other Ligament Bracing

After ACL injury or surgery, many doctors and physiotherapists recommend and ACL stability brace. Through a combination of leverage and specialized hinges, these braces are designed to reduce the strain on the ACL and prevent re-injury. Some of our most popular ACL braces include DJO’s Defiance III and A22, and the Ossur Rebound ACL Custom.

Precise Fit
Made for a Precise Fit

Custom measurements are made with exact measurement of the angles and shape of your knee, thigh, and calf for an exact fit of the knee. The measurements take 10 -15 minutes and may use a manufactures jig, or laser scanning equipment.
