Lauren Sephton
“Two visits into physio and I am feeling much better. Physio deserves way more credit than they get. Amazing! Thank you Lauren! ”
W.P.
Lauren has always had a passion for movement and growing up spent her free time riding her bike from sun up to sun down, running around the soccer field, escaping to the lake or hitting the slopes. It’s no surprise that from a young age, Lauren found herself fully emerged in sports. This naturally led her to the world of sports medicine, kinesiology and ultimately physiotherapy.
Born and raised in Alberta, Lauren attended the University of Alberta where she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012 (with distinction), followed by her Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2015. In Fall of 2014, she made the move out West to start her career and make Chilliwack her home.
Her passion for movement and understanding the complexities of human body continues to grow. This has driven her to complete various continuing education courses; manual and manipulative therapies, soft tissue release, and functional dry needling (IMS). She’s spent the last year learning all about motherhood as she welcomed her first child in July 2019.
In her spare time you will usually find her chasing after her son and pup, visiting with friends and family, or trying to sneak in a good sweat on a bike or on the soccer field.
She considers herself lucky to be able to come to work, listen to her patients’ stories, and help them return to the activities that make them feel alive. No matter if it’s from a recent injury, or years of overuse, her goal is always to return you to the activities that you love.
She is extremely excited to join the FusionPhysio team full of likeminded therapists who really enjoy what they do, and have a good time doing it!
