Angela graduated with her B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from UBC in 2002. Angela has worked in private practice for 20 years now treating all orthopedic injuries, including sports, ICBC and WCB injuries. Angela has continued to take more courses since graduating, becoming certified in 2005 in Acupuncture through CACFI. As well she has completed manual therapy level 2 lower and level 3 upper extremity. In 2016 Angela completed the Gunn IMS course for dry needling and in 2020 completed her concussion rehabilitation courses.
In addition to her job as a physiotherapist, Angela has a passion for long distance triathlon. She finished two full Ironman distance races before she had children. She still regularly competes in a couple half Ironman distance races per year in addition to standard distance triathlon races. She also competes in a variety of running distances on both the road and trail. Angela is also passionate about her two children and husband. Together they enjoy hiking, biking, downhill skiing and generally any outdoor activity.
Angela feels strongly about helping people find an activity that they enjoy getting them moving no matter what it is. She enjoys encouraging activity and regular exercise to help people recover and achieve their full potential.
